OUR STORY —

The little paint job that started it all

JMI’s Journey began in 1979 as Jim’s Maintenance Inc. During this measure, they exclusively offered make-ready and painting services to the multi-family industry. As the years proceeded it became evident the demands for a multi-trade contractor was in dire need of support. With the pressures that follow growth, the company was certain their success was ready to extend responsibility.

In 1995 Jim sought the help of his friend, hunting buddy Mike Garcia. They decided to re-brand themselves as “JMI Contractors, LLC. It was at that moment JMI began to offer a variety of additional services including but not limited to siding, windows, roofing, iron, hand railings, masonry, parking lots and a large list of additional services. The genesis of JMI was deeply rooted. Together they swiftly revamped their list of services and flourished into a full-service contractor.

After many years Jim Smith and Mike Garcia cheerfully carry on contributing to the Multi-Family industry. It has paved the way to a solid honorable reputation, grounded on dependability and efficiency.
